Coventry Cathedral - Your Kingdom Come
An informal celebration for Pentecost with baptism and confirmation, led by the Bishop of Coventry. Featuring Noel Richards and Ian Nicholson from 24-7 prayer.
Over Pentecost 2016, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York are calling upon churches across England to join together to pray for the proclamation of Jesus across our land.
‘Beacon events’ will be held at cathedrals across England during Pentecost weekend, May 14th to 15th. The events will provide an opportunity for Christians to gather to worship and pray for fresh passion and confidence in proclaiming the gospel. As thousands of people meet together to pray and worship, the Beacon events will act as a catalyst for transformation across the country. Inspired by the simple, powerful words of the Lord’s Prayer, Beacon events will be preceded by a national week of prayer for Churches to unite and pray together for the nation. Coventry’s Beacon event will also mark the climax of the 2016 Coventry Pilgrimage, drawing Christians from near and far to celebrate and pray together, echoing the holy joy and dynamic energy of the first Day of Pentecost.
