This song was birthed during a worship team rehearsal back in 1989. Tricia started to sing out the phrase "He is our fortress......." from Psalm 62 and afterwards we thought it would be great to write a song based on that Psalm. In this year which is filled with so much uncertainty, we hope that these words will be a reminder as to where we can find peace and rest in the storm....
