I am delighted that this album – Noel Richards Live – is now streaming on all platforms.
It was recorded at Regents Hall, Oxford Street, London, UK, in December 1994 when we were on the 'Warrior' Tour.
The album captures the beginning of a journey that would culminate at London's Wembley Stadium for the “Champion of the World” event in June 1997.
The core band comprised:
Brad Mason – drums
Andi Skipsey – bass
James Taylor – keys
Vanessa Freeman – backing vocals
These guys toured extensively with me in the following years and played in my band at the Wembley Stadium event in 1997.
Also in the line-up was Stu G (Delirious?) on guitars and vocals. He played in my band until the end of 1995.
We also had a guest musician – Dave Fitzgerald (Iona) – on saxes and flute.
The album comprises 13 tracks featuring classics such as: 'We want to see Jesus lifted high', I walk by faith', 'He has risen' and 'I could sing of your love forever'.
